The mission of N P Connection is to strengthen non-profit organizations by bridging the gap between bookkeeping
and reporting functions. The main goals are to bring a different perspective to non-profit organizations and to enhance organizatons by working with
current staff, outside services, and CPAs rather that replacing current services. N P Connection
was formed by Nancy L. Durgin to serve the record keeping and reporting needs of non-profit organizations. Non-profit organizations have a fiduciary responsibility to those they serve and to those who fund them. Funding sources require reporting and justification on the use of funds as well as annual CPA audits. I understand these requirements and the needs of non-profit organizations to focus their resources into fulfilling their mission.
I have a well-developed understanding of non-profit audit requirements, internal control procedures, financial analysis, and the unique reporting requirements of funding agencies. This enables me to focus on building
internal systems so that independent audits and reviews from CPAs and funding sources proceed as smoothly as possible. I carry a reputation for honesty, integrity, and providing high quality services. I strive
to treat customers, the individuals and companies they report to, and the community with respect and honest appreciation for the services provided by the non-profit organization. |
