On improving systems - "Nancy inherited rather primitive systems in a rapidly growing organization.  Nancy aggressively worked to streamline the accounting systems.  Manual systems for cash disbursements, receivables, and internal and external reporting were incorporated into the MIS accounting system.  This consolidation reduced the amount of duplicate entry and reconciliation and provides more sophisticated reporting.  She improved accounting systems to produce new financial reports for the board."
